Oversexed Man Pleads with Wife to Remain with Him
An oversexed man who seeks consistent intercourse with his wife has appealed to an Ibadan court to allow his plead to the wife to remain with him.
The wife, Olamide Lawal, has asked a Ibadan Grade ‘A’ Customary Court in Mapo, Ibadan, Oyo State to grant her divorce from her husband, Saheed Lawal, over his insatiable demand for sex.
Olamide, who has three children for Saheed, told the court on Friday that she wanted divorce from her husband on the grounds that engaged her with too much sex while he does not fulfil other marital responsibilities.
In her petition, Olamide said:
“Lawal and I have been married for 14 years now. He is an unrepentant drunk who has no human kindness in him.
“He devotes his time to beer consumption, beating and forcing me to have sex with him. He does not provide for my children.
“I cannot stand him anymore,” she said.
She asked the court to restrain her husband from calling her mobile phone or visiting her apartment.
Saheed on his part only prayed the court to grant him chance to convince his wife to remain with him.
He said “I am remorseful and turned my life around. I have stopped drinking alcohol. I am ready to start giving the children feeding money.”
The president of the court, S. M. Akintayo, adjourned the matter to March 1 for judgment, and advised the couple to maintain peace.
