Niger Tornadoes beat Kano Pillars, as Remo dim Lobi
Remo Stars have returned to the summit of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) after defeating Lobi Stars 2-0 in the match day 15 fixtures yesterday.
The Ikenne-based club were in control of the game creating goalscoring chances but were unable to get a goal as the first half ended goalless.
Upon resumption of the second half, the host took a different dimension hosts continued from where they stopped in the first half.

Adams who has been a thorn in the flesh of Lobi Stars pounced on a loose ball in the area and slam home a second.
Kano Pillars fall
In another game, Kano Pillars fell to its seventh league loss following a 1-0 defeat to Niger Tornadoes at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
It was a cagey affair as both sides tackled each other evenly with the first half ending goalless.
When it seemed both sides will get a point each, Bashir Usman scored a late goal in the 90th minute to secure the maximum points.
Similarly, Sunshine Stars failed to shine over Akwa United as both shared the spoils of war with the game ending 0-0 while Bendel Insurance returned to winning ways with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Abia Warriors.
Kwara United came from behind to defeat Plateau United 2-1 while Sporting Lagos held Bayelsa United to a 1-1 draw, a game that saw Robert Mizo becoming the first Player to reach double digit of goals in the NPFL this season. The Bayelsa United forward has now scored 10 league goals in just nine games.
