SAN Rank: KWASU ICT Dean, Prof. Aliagan, Celebrates Kwara AG Ibrahim Senior
The Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology at Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Isiaka Zubair Aliagan, has extended warm congratulations to the Kwara State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Ibrahim Senior Sulyman, following his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
Describing the achievement as a monumental win for the state’s legal community, Prof. Aliagan commended the Chief Law Officer for his unwavering commitment to justice, professional discipline, and selfless service to Kwara State. In a statement made available to newsmen in Ilorin, the KWASU don and former Presidential Media Aide noted that the SAN title remains the highest hallmark of distinction in the nation’s legal profession, strictly reserved for legal minds who have distinguished themselves in advocacy and scholarship. He stressed that the recognition of Ibrahim Senior Sulyman is a momentous occasion to celebrate true professional excellence and dedicated public service across the state.
Reflecting on the Attorney-General’s tenure, the veteran journalist and former Editor of The Herald highlighted Sulyman’s pivotal role in advancing the rule of law and strengthening institutional integrity within the Kwara State Ministry of Justice. He noted that principled legal practice and effective judicial administration under the AG’s leadership have significantly bolstered public confidence in the local justice system.
Prof. Aliagan, who also served as Director of Information at the University of Ilorin and Aviation Correspondent for The Guardian Lagos, further observed that the elevation brings an enduring responsibility to champion human rights, uphold strict professional ethics, and mentor emerging legal practitioners across Kwara State.
